Prime minister’s wife, Madam Ida Odinga has challenged Kenyans to make good use of land for the production of food, in order to promote good health.
‘People must eat right in order to be healthy, and this can only be achieved when there is adequate food production’, she said. Speaking at the launch of the Organic green house kit by the Amiran Kenya in Huruma village, Runda, the PM’s wife called on all the stakeholders to help in the fight against diseases that are caused by poor nutrition. She donated a green house to New Dawn school in Huruma slums near Runda. She also asked schools in Kenya to get green houses and boost food security for the students. |
